Cryptologists on the Loose

Welcome to the first free day - aka chaos. Since the cryptologists were able to do their own thing today, enjoy the following adventures of the Ka-Chunkologists*

Please Send Trains

We started our day bright and early by heading to Salisbury. Even though we weren’t breaking any codes today we were still breaking our banks with the mandatory coffee stop. In Salisbury, we strolled through Queen Elizabeth’s gardens, browsing antique stores and best of all - sheep!

After a delicious lunch, we headed to Bath! When we were busy taking photos of the Circus we ran into another MayX! We briefly jumped ship and joined their guided tour of Bath (don’t tell Millichap and Woodard).

After we sadly left their MayX behind we strolled around the city and found Jane Auston’s house. With an hour until our train we got some of the best Thai food we have ever had and visited the Royal Crescent.

You would think this is the end of the blog, but that is where it all went wrong. We got to the train station to go back to London and found out our train was cancelled at an earlier stop. So that is that story of how we are currently stranded in a random town in England. We’ll provide live updates from here. Please wish us luck.

7:59 PM - Our new train is delayed by 8 minutes.

8:05 PM - Train is delayed by 7 more minutes.

8:11 PM - On a train to Salisbury where we will then get a train from there to London.

8:39 PM - In Salisbury!

8:50 PM - On train back to London!

Of Geese and Kings

Today we (Anya, Ava, Makayla, Joseph, and Nick) woke up late and went to Regents Park to explore and eat lunch. We walked through Queen’s Garden and met so many geese and cute goslings by the lake. (It was universally agreed that they are much nicer than the Furman geese). Then we visited Westminster Abbey. The architecture was gorgeous and it was super cool to see the graves of so many important people, including Isaac Newton, Winston Churchill, Geoffrey Chaucer, and a bajillion royal people.
